Source control

The Source Control view

Open Source Control from the activity bar. Changed files are grouped into staged and unstaged changes. Click a file to open its diff.

Commit

Stage files with the + button next to each one, write a message, and commit. The view updates when files change on disk, including changes made by the agent or in a terminal.

Branches

The current branch, and how far it is ahead of or behind its upstream, is shown in the chat's branch bar and in the status bar. Switch branches from either place.
